![]() The National Report CardThis completely web-based exercise commences with communities completing and submitting an on-line survey. The information that they provide is tabulated and a national profile of engagement and commitment is created. In addition to this national portrait, Safe Communities Canada also prepares individual report cards for each community. Communities can see how their organization ranks in comparison to the national profile, and also to their standing last year. The credibility of both The National Report Card and the Community Report Card is enhanced by the Question by Question Response. This provides (community by community and question by question) all of the information about the network of Canadian Safe Communities gathered in the survey in 2012. We will tabulate the results over the summer and release our sixth National Report Card on Safe Communities Day, Wednesday , October 3, 2012.
